Hi,
We are using copssh to connect between Windows 2003 server to AIX server. I created a public and private keypair using.
C:\Program Files\copssh\bin>ssh-keygen -t "dsa"
The public and private keys were placed in "C:\Program Files\copssh\home\actadmin\.ssh" directory. (id_dsa - private key, id_dsa.pub - public key)
Then I copied the contents of id_dsa.pub file into AIX Server into the file named "/home/stage/.ssh/authorized_keys" file.
So now when I try to execute ssh as given below, I get the following debug statements.
C:\Program Files\copssh\bin>ssh stage@tunlws002 -v date

stage@tunlws002's password:
I am not sure why it trying to add RSA Fingerprint into "known_hosts" file and from where it got that RSA Finger print. Moreover we are trying to use DSA, not RSA.
We are trying to execute ssh with logging in without password. If I am following a wrong process do let me know?. Or am I missing any setup steps?.
ssh_config file contents:
# This is the ssh client system-wide configuration file. See
# ssh_config(5) for more information. This file provides defaults for
# users, and the values can be changed in per-user configuration files
# or on the command line.
# Configuration data is parsed as follows:
# 1. command line options
# 2. user-specific file
# 3. system-wide file
# Any configuration value is only changed the first time it is set.
# Thus, host-specific definitions should be at the beginning of the
# configuration file, and defaults at the end.
