Outlook 2000 SR-1 - Default Signature

Hi There

I'm really interested in your AdolSign tool. Could you tell me if it supports Outlook 2000 SR-1 in an Windows 2000 domain. Everything seems to work OK with the trial version, except the default profile isn't set. When monitoring inverbose mode the script executes OK the profiles are generated to the "Application Data\Microsoft\Signatures" folder  also the data is read from AD correctly. The only thing is the signature isn't set as default. please see output below:

ADOLSIGN 1.62 - Create AD-aware Outlook Signatures
Copyright 2005-2006 ITeF!x Consulting (http://itefix.no). All Rights Reserved.
Corporate license for DEMO VERSION (recognizes first name, last name and title only)
Adolsign could not find a license file. Starting in demo mode ...
User _Test.CT
Configuration file adolsign.config is found. Processing ..
Directory for Outlook signatures is C:\Documents and Settings\_Test.CT\Application Data/Microsoft/Signatures
Naming context is DC=xxxxx,DC=xxxxx,DC=xxxx,DC=xxxx
field_firstname -> _Test
field_lastname -> CT
field_title -> Group Managing Director
Processing signature example ..
Signature root is T:/signature/example
No default profile info is found.

Your assitance is appreciated.

Regards

Dean

Re: Outlook 2000 SR-1 - Default Signature

I've updated Adolsign with support for default signatures in Outlook 2000. Give version 1.63 a try!

Hi Tev

Thanks alot for responding so soon but unfortunately v1.63 didn't work either. The /verbose response was exactly the same. The signature is created and exists in Outlook as a selection option but it just isn't set as default.

 Thanks

Dean

Re: Outlook 2000 SR-1 - Default Signature

Hi Tev

Again thanks alot for responding so soon. That worked a treat by using a mapped drive. Unfortunately it didn't work using a UNC path. Not critical I know but would be nice if it could work with UNC paths as it is then only 1 line of code in the login script as opposed to 5 or so.

Anyway thanks again, I will pass the results up my manager for him to make a decision on which product to go for.

Cheers

Dean
