I refer to:http://www.itefix.net/phpws/index.php?module=phpwsbb&PHPWSBB_MAN_OP=view...
When I activate a local user, I am then prompted to choose a password/passphrase. I assume this can be different to the user's NT password? Is there a relationship between the COPSSH password and the NT password?
So how do I change the user's COPSSH password/passphrase?
There is no relationship between ssh passphrase and windows password:
- An ssh passphrase is related to PKA (public key authentication) and used to encrypt your private key for protection on a non-volatile medium. When you initiate a PKA login by using your private key, you will be asked for your passphrase.
- A windows password is related to password authentication and is the same one you use during windows logon.
Ok, so when I ssh into the COPSSH server with password authentication, am I using the passphrase I created when I activated a user, or the user's Windows password?

user's windows password.
Is it possible to deativated the password login ?(only a login with a private key ?)
